In Windows File Explorer, the folder is listed in your Favorites as well.

But when I look at my dropbox file, the new date and time are there, so I'm assuming so is the data.

I am experiencing the exact same problem and it is really annoying.

Notes: If you have the OneDrive sync app but the shared folder does not sync to your computer, you might have selective sync turned on.
